If clear blue skies and 13 hours of sunshine seem like a distant dream, Puerto Banus is the holiday destination for you. By April each year the average temperature is already around 22°C, quickly rising to a steady 31°C by July and August, tempered by a welcome cooling sea breeze. In the height of summer, the sea reaches a glorious 23/24°C. Still averaging around 24°C by October, the climate in Puerto Banus remains pleasant throughout autumn, winter and spring.

Beach or beach club?

Let Puerto Banus take your beach experience to a new level. Villa Luxe has several excellent, relaxed Chiringuitos (beach bars) within ten minutes, including one of our favourites, Saldunabeach. Meanwhile, for a taste of the high life, lounge, swim and dine at uber - luxury beach clubs like Sala Beach and Ocean Club Marbella, rubbing shoulders with visiting celebrities and stars.

With 23 beaches peppering the Marbella coastline, there’s a place for every taste. From Villa Luxe, the local beach is a 15-minute stroll along a quiet lane. Puerto Banus boasts three destinations - Playa Nueva Andalucia, Playa Puerto Banus (Playa de Levante) and Playa del Rio Verde. Offering golden sand, windsurfing, jet-skis and pedalos, Nagüeles beach, the most popular is Marbella, is ten minutes away.

You don't just party in Puerto Banus: you party with style. As a favourite playground destination for the rich and famous, it's hardly surprising you’ll find some of the smartest and most exclusive venues here. As you'd expect, the eclectic choice spans every kind of nightlife – from legendary clubs and discos to buzzing music bars. For a quiet drink, simply head for the 'backline', a street behind the port.

In Puerto Banus Marina, along the front and second line, you’ll find designer outlets and boutiques out in force. Home to one of Spain’s largest El Corte Ingles department stores, the town also boasts the Marina Banus shopping centre and Centro Plaza development. For authentic market stalls, hit the Nueva Andalucia Artisan and Zoco del Sol markets.
